Service Description
TrustCoyote provides domain and URL safety checks using third-party reputation data and AI-generated summaries. The service is designed for informational security research, quick risk triage, and user awareness.
No Security Guarantee
TrustCoyote does not guarantee that a domain is safe, malicious, available, lawful, or suitable for any particular purpose. Reputation data, automated analysis, and AI-generated text can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. You are responsible for making your own decisions and, where appropriate, performing independent security review.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you must not:
- Use TrustCoyote for unlawful activity, harassment, abuse, malware distribution, phishing, credential theft, or attempts to compromise systems.
- Bypass rate limits, automate high-volume requests without permission, overload the service, or interfere with its operation.
- Submit secrets, passwords, private keys, payment data, medical data, or other sensitive confidential information.
- Use the service to make final legal, financial, employment, medical, or high-impact decisions about people.
- Copy, resell, frame, or commercially exploit the service in a way that violates these Terms or third-party rights.
User Submissions
When you submit a domain or URL, you confirm that you have a lawful reason to check it and that your submission does not violate any duty of confidentiality. You grant TrustCoyote the limited right to process the submitted domain and related scan data to operate the service, generate results, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
Recent Checks and Public Display
The homepage may show recently checked domains and their trust scores. This display is intended to provide ambient context and does not include the full AI analysis from other users. Do not submit confidential or unreleased domains if you do not want the domain name to appear in that public recent-check rail.
Third-Party Data and Links
TrustCoyote may link to Gridinsoft reports or use third-party providers to generate scanner results. Third-party services are controlled by their own operators and may have their own terms, privacy notices, availability limits, and data practices. TrustCoyote is not responsible for third-party content or services.
Intellectual Property
The TrustCoyote name, interface, logo, design, and site content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the scanner for its intended purpose, but no ownership rights are transferred to you.
Availability and Changes
The service may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Features, data sources, rate limits, languages, and result formats may change as the project evolves.
Disclaimer of Warranties
TrustCoyote is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrustCoyote and its creator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, security incidents, business interruption, or reliance on scanner results. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law does not allow that limitation.
Privacy
Use of the service is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains how information is processed when you use TrustCoyote.
